The very fact that you are part of the summit may help you better your timings at the SCMM.
Here is how I look at it.
Your body can adopt three postures. On your feet either standing or walking, sitting down and then laying horizontal.
Most likely one will not be laying horizontal the whole day. And it is not desirable to be standing or walking around, in order to give the legs a rest.
So it comes down to sitting. You can sit either at your home and watch TV/ Computer or you can sit at the office and add to the tension
Or sitting at the Summit where you are going to be
– Start with a Pasta Party and adequate carb loading
– Hydrating appropriately
– Sitting for the afternoon with interesting talks.
– Just being with similarly charged runners will energize you mentally.
