1 Mile Pet A Thon Run Rules:

• Please ensure your dog’s vaccines are up to date and valid. Carry a copy of the vaccination certificate to the venue.
• Every pet parent is responsible for their own dog during the event
• Only healthy dogs free from any ailments are allowed.
• Hip related issues and injuries are not allowed.
•  Aggressive dogs are not allowed.
• Dogs must be leashed at all times.
• Use of pinch collars, choke chains, flexi-lead are not allowed.
• No dogs on heat are allowed.
• Brachycephalic dogs like Pugs, Shih Tzus, Chihuahuas, Chow Chows, Pekingese, Lhasa Apso, Bull Mastiffs and English Toy Spaniels are not allowed to participate in the 1 Mile run. (Please note that these breeds are welcome to accompany their human companion to the post run carnival and entry is free for the Petathon carnival.)
• Age information: 6+ months for big breeds and 12+ months for small breeds. There is no upper age limit for dogs who are healthy and able to walk or run 1 mile.
•  All dogs should be socialized and puppies should have received all required puppy vaccines.
