Footloose Run- Race Day guidelines & 2nd Expo detail
Dear Participant,
I hope you have trained to finish within your predicted time for Footloose Run on 13th Aug.
Read this mail till the end, it has complete race day & expo info.
We have already distributed kits (shoes & Bibs) to more than 200 participants of Footloose Run in first expo. You may collect your pair of shoes with bibs on 12th Aug, Saturday, from the below mentioned address. Participants who missed collected kits in first expo should also collect, positively. No, shoes distribution will be done on race day. The expo venue is a temporary venue where we will be distributing kit between 10AM & 3PM.
Venue for 2nd Expo- # 57, First Floor, Udyog Vihar, Phase 1 (Near Punjab National Bank). Gurgaon. If you are coming from Shankar Chowk into Udyog Vihar (Trident on your left), take 5th right cut (called Ram Chowk) then 2nd left and again 2nd left. Passing by T10 Sports building you reach number 57 J
Duration of Expo- 10AM to 3PM
# You may authorize someone to collect the shoes on your behalf.
# You will be given size which you have mentioned while registration.
# There will be no exchange or choice of colours.
# Race day guidelines will be mailed separately in second week of August
# The Race route remains same as was in recently held Day Breaker Half Marathon.
Outstation participants can collect their bibs on race day morning.
Race Day: Sunday, August 13, 2017
Start Point: Off W Pratiksha Hospital. Start point is 600m away from Club, across the road towards Behrampur Village. Near Outback, Theka Angrezi Sharab (Ireo Sales office on Rajesh Pilot Marg).
It is a Road Run.

Outstation Bib Distribution (No shoes available on race day morning)- Between 4:30AM & 5:15AM
Try to reach venue 30-45mins before your respective start time.
Start Time-
All races start on 5:30AM onwards in following sequence- 1) HM, 2) 15K, 3) 10K & 4) 5K
Participants will get finishers’ Medals as soon as they complete their run & timing certificate will be available online a day after.
Breakfast- Post run, hot breakfast will be served by Quaker from 7am.
Route for the Run-
15Km- One loop (out and back 7.5Km each)
Half Marathon- One loop + 6.1Km (3.05Km out and back in 2nd loop)
10Km- U-turn from 5Km mark and timing mat
5Km Walkathon- U-turn from 2.5Km mark
2Km Walk/ Run- U-turn from 1Km mark
Water Stations: There are aid/energy stations every 2Km on the route.
Portable Toilets: These will be placed at start & 5Km mark.
Parking- Sufficient parking is available at Club Florence and near the start point. Volunteers will guide you for directions and help you park in systematic manner. Still, carpool is highly recommended.
There will be direction markers and volunteers to guide you on the route and at every turn. The route is such that there is minimum or no traffic.
Loads of photos will be clicked, so run strong, yet smiling all the way to the finish line.
Dispose all the trash, disposable glasses and bottle in dustbin. Or, pass it on the volunteers. Help us keep the race route clean. As usual, our team of volunteers will clean the route after the event is over.
