The tradition of Wari ( Vaaree ) is more than 700 to 800 years old. The Wari (Vaaree) is a pilgrimage (Yatra) carried out by the Warkaris who are worshipers of Lord Vitthal (also known as Vithoba)

Half a million devotees from all over Maharashtra take part in the on-foot journey in groups. Walk With Wari aims to be India’s largest virtual walking event and following tradition. The event has been designed such that it has the potential to maintain the devotion & spirituals towards Lord Vithoba within and to promote Good Health with a Simple Style of living.
