Tata Ultra Marathon 2019- Race Day Details

PARKING:
There is limited parking available at the basement of Sunil’s Wax Museum area, available on first come first serve basis. Lonavala can also be reached even by train. Security officials stationed at the various entry gates are authorised to check your belongings whilst entering the ground. For security reasons, you will undergo frisking by the security officials; your cooperation is solicited.
BAGGAGE COUNTERS:
All marathon runners can store ONE BAG only at the designated Baggage Counters – you cannot store your bag inside the holding area . You will be given a baggage tag which needs to be attached to your bag. You must retain the other half of the tag for submission to our volunteers post your run for bag retrieval. DO NOT leave any valuables in the bag stored. The Event Organizer is not responsible for any loss, theft or misplacement of your bag or contents stored therein. Please take note of some of the items (non-exhaustive) not recommended to leave inside your bag: Jewellery Camera Mobile Phone Cash Original photo id proofs Credit / Debit card Baggage counters will be open for collection after the race till 12 noon on race day. HOLDING AREA:
The holding area is near Sunil’s Wax Museum. Tata Ultra Marathon runners reaching the holding area later than 2:15 a.m. and / or not wearing the valid running number bib will not be allowed to participate in the Tata Ultra Marathon 2019. Tata Ultra Challenge runners reaching the holding area later than 4:15 a.m. and/or not wearing the valid running number bib will not be allowed to participate in the Tata Ultra Challenge 2019.

RACE DAY EMERGENCIES
Medical aid will be made available in case of emergencies. Runners are advised to carry their own specific prescribed medicines. You must stop running the race immediately if instructed to do so by a member of the medical crew – this is in the interest of your health and safety. SLOW FINISHERS:
The time limit for completion of the Ultra marathon distance of 50 km is 7 hours from the start time, and for 35 km it is 5 hours from the start time. The cut-off time for 50 km is at 40 km – 5hrs 20mins and cut-off time for 35 km is at 25 km – 3hrs 20mins. Runners who do not meet the cut-off time will be stopped. They won’t be allowed to run and will be taken to the finish line via a sweeping bus.
