The 2nd edition of YHU2019 is just about 2 days to go and we would like to remind you of the important updates below.

Yercaud weather on the race day
Summer in the region starts early in the middle of the month of February and lasts until June. It is the best time to visit Yercaud despite the scorching sun the area is relatively cool weather in the night times.
29 deg max/16 deg min.
50k run starts early in the morning, you might have to bring an additional layer of clothing.

BIB & T-Shirt & collection​
BIB distribution :
Date: 16-Feb-2019, Saturday, 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm
Race briefing: 6.00 pm
Venue : British Heritage Bungalow, Hotel Green Fort Inn, Yercaud.
NOTE : Collect your custom T-shirt and dinner coupon if you have preordered during the registration.
Your BIB usage guideline
Your BIB must be worn only by you
BIB is non-transferable, do not give your BIB to another runner
Secure the BIB in front of your running T
Do not make changes to your BIB
Your BIB contains the RFID tag for tracking your run progress, do not tamper it
Any violation will lead to disqualification
Waiver form
You will have to sign a waiver form before collecting your BIB
Identify yourself
Bring a government issued ID card
Bring an authorisation email with an ID card image if you are collecting the BIB on behalf of your friend.
Pre-race dinner: 7.00 pm onwards
Baggage counter
You can check-in your baggage at the start
50k runners can access the baggage at your 25k checkpoint (also same as the start) before going for the 2nd loop.
Race day timing & cut-off
Start time:
50k: 5.00 am
Must bring torch lights & headlamp
25k: 6.00 am
Cut-off time
The 50k course will remain open for 8 hrs
25k for 4 hrs
Aid-Stations
Start and Finish
Available at every 4-5 km
Toilets
Toilets are located at the Start/Finish
Marathon route
Road with light traffic
Follow the route markers painted on the road at intersections & turns
Post run fuel/breakfast
Available at the finish point
First-Aid & physio support
First-Aid will be available at all aid-stations
Medical staff will be available at the Start/Finish area
Sports Physios at the finish line
Medal
Medal will be awarded to all the runners finishing within the cut-off time
Finish time & certificates
Your finish time will be sent to through SMS. The SMS might take some time depending on the mobile network connectivity
Official timing certificate will be sent to you 2-3 days after the event.
Medical warning
We do not recommend you to participate
If your doctor has advised you to refrain from any vigorous physical activities
If you are experiencing any pain in your chest or dizziness
Any other severe medical condition
Stop the race immediately if instructed by the member of the medical crew or any of the race organisers
Keep the Yercaud Hills clean
Do not throw litter and garbage on the marathon course
Keep your energy gel packets or any trash with you and discard them at the nearest aid-station
