Are you bored! Stressed! Stuck at home! Not to worry…EsselWorld Virtual FunRun is a gateway of experiencing the thrill & Masti indoor through your first Virtual Running Event!

Fun & exercise can help boost your mental state as well as physical health also. So, in the spirit of #socialdistancing; we’ve organized an EsselWorld Virtual FunRun to get you moving indoor.

We offer 5km & 10km virtual run for those who are just starting out or experienced runners and 500 meters for special obstacle fun run for kids. Hurry! Registration now open till 6 PM on 24th May 2020!!

Rules of the competition:

For 10 Km and 5 Km run

• Participants will run within the house or in their compound and will observe the lockdown regulations of the local government.
• The run can be done any time during the 24 hour period starting from Saturday midnight to Sunday midnight.
• The run will be captured on an exercise app on the phone or on a wrist device of choice.
• On completion of the run the same will be submitted using the verification link received.
• Our backend team will verify and send the certificates of the participation and the discount coupon spot prizes.

 

Kids Obstacle Run

• 500 mtr Obstacle race meant to encourage children to participate.
• Parents are requested to create innovative obstacle courses from within the house.
• There should be minimum 2 ‘unders’ and 2 ‘overs’ in the obstacle. Unders can be under the sofa, under the chair, under the table, etc. Overs can be running on the sofa, running on the chair, hopping over the chair, running, getting up on the bed and getting down from the other side of, etc.
• The idea is to have a fun activity in the house and use imagination.
• Take a video of the activity and post it on your social media handles using the hashtags #EsselworldVirtualFunRun #YouTooCanRun and #LivFit and update the link of the uploaded video on the verification link provided in the confirmation email.
• There is no requirement for logging distance etc but at least it is expected that at least 3 ‘loops’ should be completed.
• Our backend team will verify and send the certificates of the participation and the discount coupon spot prizes.

 

Do’s & Don’ts:

• Do have fruit and enjoy the water in the morning before starting.
• Do your warm-up
• Don’t start with a cold body.
• Do set your app/watch before the run.
• Do save the data & copy the link of the run data & save it post-run and upload the link  in the verification link provided in the confirmation mail you received after your registration
• Do hydrate yourself at regular intervals with water or electrolyte after every 2 Kms.
• Do make a video of at least 30 secs (two reps of 2 overs & 2 unders obstacles) for kids obstacles.
• Do save & upload the video on your Facebook profile/ page on your timeline & save the link of the post and upload the post URL in the confirmation mail you received after your registration
• Don’t forget to add the hashtags “ #EsselWorld #You/tooCanRun #LivFit #esselworldvirtualfunrun ” to the FB upload and keep the post open to public and shareable
• Do click nice pics during and post the run to keep it as memory & post on social media proudly
• Don’t forget to tag us too! As we would like to cherish the memories too!
• Do remember to wear shoes if not used to running barefoot
• Don’t use a face mask if running inside the house.
• Do abide by the social distancing rules laid out by the government, local authorities & society while running in society compound or terrace
• Do run easy, run safe, run happy and #StayHome.
• Do fill the entire verification link form which is short, crisp and very self explanatory

Prizes

• 20 winners from each category are entitled to one unconditional full day couple passes to EsselWorld valid till 31st March 2021. The passes entitle 2 people/ pass to spend the entire day at EsselWorld and enjoy all facilities. Food, Travel & beverages will be extra as per choice.

The bifurcations of the passes are as under –

• 10km – 20 couple passes
• 5km – 20 couple passes
• Kids obstacle run – 20 couple passes

The prizes will be distributed based on a lucky draw of the participants who successfully complete the event.

Discount coupons of 25% discount will be given to all participants who submit links as per the rules of the event.
