I will eventually recover enough to thank everyone who made MIT Aurangabad Heritage Half Marathon 2016 a success that we are proud of right in its first edition, but let me start by thanking one person who was involved right from the time we conceived the idea, who encouraged us, pushed us at times, guided us, and helped us plan the event to minutest detail. Our vision was to give runners the best running experience and he never allowed us to deviate even an inch from that when in our enthusiasm we wanted to include elements that were in conflict. He worked harder, longer, and smarter than most of us setting a benchmark for every volunteer through personal example rather than preaching.
